“Digital Heroes” at isa20 – International Summer Academy of the mdw
From 18 to 24 August 2020, the master classes and concerts of isa – the International Summer Academy of the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna will be taking place in various digital formats. isa20 will present itself as never before to offer an onscreen digital arena of experimentation – isaDigital – instead in its accustomed form as it’s taken place in the Semmering-Rax Region in Lower Austria for the past 29 years due to Covid 19. isa’s digital palette offered in TWO PACKAGES will range from online lectures, webinars, concerts, and documentaries to a competition for the most creative online musical performance, body work, and informal networking meetings. Participation is open to students as well as to all other interested individuals. “Heroes?”—isa’s 2020 theme—will be illuminated from various perspectives with special attention paid to Beethoven’s oeuvre .
